THE CONTEST

It takes a while for couples to perfect a rhythm they’re comfy with. But once they get it? It’s hard to resist pressing replay on those high notes — the feel-good moments that flood your mind all day long!

Which makes us curious: What would the soundtrack of a successful relationship actually look like?

We’re compiling a “Greatest Hits” list of favourite things about long-term relationships that still make our hearts skip a beat, and we need you to weigh in!

It can be sweet, funny or sarcastic; anything from a small sentimental musing to a big grand gesture. Whatever the case, we can’t wait to see what you think tops the charts!

WHAT YOU WIN

All applicants who submit their answers will automatically be entered to win one of 5 David’sTea gift cards in a draw. The winners will be chosen at random after submissions close on November 8th, 2016, and announced shortly after.

Your written submissions will be reviewed, and approximately 10 will be selected to comprise our Relationship “Greatest Hits” list, which will be announced and shared across our social media channels. (We reserve the right to modify the number of entries selected, according to the number of submissions we receive).

HOW TO ENTER

Submit a written response to the question, “What is one of your favourite aspects about currently being in a long-term relationship?” The response can be serious, humorous or silly, and must be no longer than 40 words in length. See below for example submissions.

SUBMITTING YOUR ANSWER:

Send your answer by email to House Staff member, Marni Gelkopf: marni@thehousetoronto.com
All submissions must be in by Tuesday November 8th, 2016 at 11:59pm, and must include your name, and the name of your current partner to be considered eligible.

***CONTEST EXTENDED!*** Please submit all entries by November 21st, 2016 at 11:59pm.

PLEASE NOTE: if your answer is selected, we will list both you and your partner’s first names automatically. Please indicate in your email to us if you would also wish for us to use your last names (and provide).

EXAMPLE ANSWERS

“Being the big spoon!”

“How she won’t watch our Netflix shows without me.”

“Picking up my husband’s socks, slacks, shirts, and dirty laundry…and making dirty laundry angels on the floor!”

“How she still smiles when she says my name, just like the first time we met.”

Good luck, couples!
