About

Welcome to The House!

MISSION STATEMENT: The House inspires Jewish young adults (ages 22-35) through dynamic and creative programming, fostering a deepening appreciation of Jewish wisdom, values, and traditions by highlighting their relevance for navigating life’s important decisions and everyday life.

Starting in 2004 as the vision of our very own Rabbi Rafi Lipner, today The House is a dynamic organization that is leading the way in engaging a next generation of inspired Jewish young adults, as seen through our growing membership, creative programming and collaborative community partnerships. Reaching out to over 1000 Jewish young adults annually The House creates a comfortable environment open to young Jewish adults from all streams of Judaism.

How do we do what we do? Great question!

The answer is a mixture of  relevant and inspiring Jewish programs such as speakers, workshops, Shabbat dinners, volunteer initiatives, special events and more….These events are hosted at various locations, venues, and homes throughout the GTA!  As well, if  you have a great idea for a program or event, The House team and expertise will help make it happen!

Through these avenues, our participants grow to see their values, priorities and lives through a Jewish lens enabling them to reinforce their Jewish identity, raise a Jewish family and actively contribute to building a stronger Jewish community. Our intention is reflected by our motto:

“Leave The House more than you were before you walked in!”
