Past #Gamechangers

Gamechangers_Insta SquareSuccess: A Deeper Definition

Our internal GPS isn’t completely off; we know how to pinpoint goals, or life’s valued destinations. But somewhere amidst the distraction from Things Nearby or calculating our ETA, our navigation can falter and inadvertently lead us swerving off course. The paths we venture down can feel meandering, aimless or out-of-date. It takes a Gamechanger to set a course that gets you there faster, gets there smarter, and truly “gets” the end goal of success.

The House invites you back to experience the fourth #Gamechangers event in the beautiful Treviso Showroom, provided to us by our dear friends at Lanterra Developments.

Gamechangers 3_Paperless Post_ImageBalance

Life moves fast. REALLY fast. And our greatest achievement is seen as being able to juggle all of the balls that we have in the air without dropping one.

We rarely have a second to take a step back and figure out how to achieve balance. We’re often conflicted, or stretched between our Jewish and professional lives, while trying to remain focused on family or our responsibility to the community. The promise of a harmonious life sometimes feels too far to grasp: Is it possible? Does such a thing even exist?

Rabbi Rafi’s convinced that you can keep the ball rolling once you see that life’s not so much the unforgiving tightrope you might expect.

Your Next Chapter - Paperless Post square

Your Next Chapter

He shared the stage with Leonard Cohen. He hosted President Clinton not once but twice. He closed down one of the busiest intersections in Canada to host a party for 10,000 people. Jeremy Cammy is Canada’s impresario. As Vice President & Executive Producer for Indigo there’s virtually no one he hasn’t met. Award winning authors and celebrities, politicians, sports figures. The list is endless. This evening will be ‘one for the books,’ as a night of great stories, personal reflection and words of profound Jewish advise. Drawing from his grandparents’ Holocaust experience, his years growing up in Ottawa, how he landed a job with Heather Reisman and what he has learned from the famous folks he’s fist-pumped (yes, he’s a germophobe), Jeremy’s words will surely encourage us to discover our next chapter, and consider the written legacy we leave behind.

Paperless Post_imageLaunch @ The Sharps

Be part of an exciting new initiative that continues The House’s tradition of high-level learning, this time for the more exclusive, sophisticated palate (28 – 35 years of age).  Joining means access to dialogue and insight about the mature interests and passions relevant to you (work/life balance, community involvement, building a Jewish home, philanthropy, raising a family, etc.).  It also means facilitating Jewish leadership through financial commitment: every dollar raised goes right back into programming for The House’s young adults, so that your education directly reciprocates an investment in others.

In addition to hosting the first meeting, Isadore Sharp, Founder and CEO of the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and Former JEDx Speaker, will present opening remarks alongside a lecture by Rabbi Rafi. The Sharps, who greatly value philanthropy, are overall exemplary models of what it means to contribute to society.  Their involvement perfectly compliments a program that transitions you into becoming a community leader in your own right.
